We have always combined the greenhouse with glass, but today's modern materials, glass presses into the background.

Glass filled with glass

If we opt for a glasshouse, it is necessary to place the glass sheets in a solid aluminum structure. The entire greenhouse must be firmly anchored to the solid base. Greenhouse glass plants are fully suited to planting, but are more demanding for maintenance, especially in case of damage to glass sheets. In case of damage, we always have to replace the whole board.

Plastic glass

It sounds a little cheap, but it's not an ordinary plastic. It's polycarbonate. Polycarbonates have outstanding properties. They are mechanically very durable and able to isolate well. The advantage of polycarbonate glass enclosure is the total lightness of a building that does not require a concrete foundation. Polycarbonate is made of lightweight aluminum.

Material selection

If we opted for a polycarbonate greenhouse. It is advisable to purchase a greenhouse from a proven supplier that guarantees the quality of the polycarbonate according to the certificate. Polycarbonate slabs of unclean origin usually do not last long. Either destroy them, at the same time with the construction, the first big wind, or they destroy UV radiation during the year. It is better to bet on the security of a good supplier.

How to know quality material

We know the quality polycarbonate not only according to the corresponding certificate, but also according to its absolute clarity. High-quality polycarbonate is strong and flexible and highly shock-resistant.

What the polycarbonate does not handle

Even the finest polycarbonate has one minus. Since the polycarbonate is almost maintenance-free, we do not have much to do with its maintenance. But if we decide to clean it, we must not use chemical cleaners or solvents in any way. You could even destroy the most quality polycarbonate plate. Otherwise, the records will really last.
