What is a chimney liner

Chimney liner is made of metal, ceramic or plastic. It is a structural element that has the task of creating vents in the multi-layer chimney so that it often comes into contact with flue gases. The insert is also thermally and dilatably separated from the chimney casing. In the chimney, the insert is mounted from the top by successive insertion. Sometimes, however, the dimensions are not perfect, so it is sometimes necessary to proceed to milling. Once the insert is positioned correctly, it is usually placed over it to prevent it from leaking.
