What is an anchor

The anchor is an oval insert with screws or screws attached to it. They stay better in the masonry, do not curse and do not look. An anchor helps to break down forces into the surface in the material.

The first patent for anchor was obtained by John Joseph Rawlings in London in 1911. The dowels were first made of hemp cords. Currently they are mostly made of plastic or nylon , or metal (brass or steel). Anchors are made of many types and are used mainly according to the type of building material to which they are anchored.

With anchors, for example, suspended swings are fastened, various roofs or rails are attached to the wall.
